How Do Chemical Peels Work?
Chemical peels use a chemical solution to improve and smooth the texture of the skin by removing its damaged outer layers. It is a great treatment for individuals with facial blemishes, wrinkles and uneven skin pigmentation. While chemical peels are often used for cosmetic reasons such as enhancing your appearance or self-confidence they can also be used to soften facial acne scars and even control acne.
What Should I Expect After My Chemical Peel?
Most patients feel no discomfort during and after their treatment. After a chemical peel you may experience minimal flaking but your skin will be glowing and healthy looking.
Can I Combine Chemical Peels with Other Treatments?
Yes, most of our clients combine their chemical peel with other anti-aging treatments such as facials, laser genesis and IPL limelight facial treatments. During your consultation, Dr. Moraru and his team can create a customized treatment plan with you to help you achieve your desired results.
Am I a Good Candidate for This Treatment?
Chemical peels are an excellent treatment for all skin types.
